Sharp Crochet Hook

One of my best friends has invented a crochet hook that is AMAZING! It is a Sharp Crochet Hook. The tip is sharp so that you no longer need to buy the presewn blankets. You can simply poke your own holes through the material and crochet! I'm not great wording it all, but I do have my own Sharp Crochet Hook, and I LOVE IT! I'm a novice at crocheting, and I've made 3 blankets with mine. Seriously, so easy to use! Here is the link to her website Sharp Crochet Hook. Go take a look! You're going to want one!

Season's Shelf

I am auditioning for 1 Month 2 Win It! I'm so excited, and I really hope that I make it!

For my audition, I'm pulling something out that I've never shown anyone, unless they've come to my house! It's something that I came up with one day while walking through the store. I kept thinking that I wanted something that could hang in my house all year long, but it would change with every season, holiday, birthday, what ever! This is what I came up with!

It's a shelf, that has hooks on the front to hang little blocks with letters on them to spell out words! Here it is for Easter.

I made a TON of little tiles for it, so you have 2 of every letter, and a few little pictures (i.e. hearts, leaves, stars, etc) There are also 2 of every number. You can change it up too! Say "Happy" (that's on one tile) "Bday!" Or, "Happy 2 BDAY" or AUTUMN or SUMMER or {Leaf}FALL{Leaf} or {Snowflake}SNOW {Snowflake} or whatever your little heart desires!

Here's one for SPRING!

Oh yeah, did I mention that the frame is REMOVABLE?! That's right, you can take that little 4x6 frame off and change out the pictures! Cool, right? And the name on the front is customizable too! The top of the shelf, that says our name on it is actually a box, the top shelf comes off and all the tiles store right inside! I LOVE it! I get lots of comments on it, and since it's so unique, I know that I'm not going to walk into someone else's house and see it there! We painted ours black, because we weren't sure what colors would go with our decor, and black goes with most stuff!

Anyway, here are a few more pictures to enjoy!

The BIG Reveal!

Here are those pictures I promised you!

I made her these shoes found HERE.

I made up this little dress for her with the same shoe pattern.

I LOVE this flower! I think it's just so dainty, and just perfect.

No baby girl outfit is complete without a few ruffles, especially on the bum!

Stewart helped me quilt this blanket for her.

Don't look too close, it's the first one we've done!

I LOVE this material!

The front is really soft fleece, and the back is trecot. It's going to be so nice for her little girl!

That's what I made her! It was really nice to see everything come together the way I imagined it!

In the mood

I'm in the mood to make something. But what? I don't know...
I've been trying to think of something all day, but I can't for the life of me figure out what I want to make... Maybe I'll do a skirt or something... Maybe something for my niece's 2nd birthday coming up... HMMM... Any ideas?

I'm so excited to show you all the finished products! I'll post pictures Saturday!

Envy!

I have been DYING to re-do my bedroom lately. Our walls are tan, and I would like to paint an accent wall light blue. I want to get a blue and tan bed set, and I'd just LOVE one of these flat panel TV Stands!
Isn't that just beautiful?! The really great thing about it is that it is a corner unit, (all of our TV outlets are in the corner of the room) the TV sits higher than the edge of the bed, and a super nice fireplace is built right in! It would be so romantic to watch a movie in the winter, snuggling in bed, with the fireplace on... All we'd need to add is a flat panel TV!

It'd be so nice to have our room become an oasis from the everyday hectic of life. Right now it's kind of in shambles. I think that if I had stuff that I just LOVED in there, I'd be more motivated to keep it all picked up. (At least that's what I'm telling Stewart to try and talk him into a new bedspread!)

I'm pretty sure I could spend all day looking at the CSN Stores websites! And their newest one is awesome too!
